For those who only know the Alpin Arena Senales as a snowy ski paradise, visiting the Val Senales Glacier in summer is a must. When the sun is high, not only are the picturesque paths between forests and rock giants snow-free and ready for adventurous hikers, but also the Iceman Ötzi Peak on the Grawand summit entices with its spectacular views of 126 three-thousanders and the former realm of Ötzi. In addition, there are biking routes with adrenaline guarantees, thrilling via ferratas, an extraordinary art project, and the Mountaincarts Lazaun, our mountain Ferraris for young and old. On the glacier from September to May

The glacier ski area in Val Senales guarantees snow for particularly long periods and draws visitors with pistes for every level, professional training routes, an 8 km long valley run, a children's area and stunning panoramas. 

History closer than ever

From the new Iceman Ötzi Peak viewing platform at over 3,000 m, you can look out over the kingdom of Ötzi, the Iceman.

Hotel Firn in Val Senales is just a 40-minute drive from Merano. If you are looking for a change from the mountains, forests and peaks, visit the spa town with the famous arcade shops, the thermal baths and the promenades.
